Home radio starts official programing today

Wa based radio station, Home Radio 99.7MHz, this morning started its official programs after two months of test transmission.

The new radio adds up to the number of radio stations operating in the Upper West regional capital. Until the introduction of Home Radio, the region hosted thirteen radio stations, with seven located in the Wa Municipal.

The station which is being headed by Fostino Asprila, formerly of Sungmaale FM is expected to take the municipality by storm after unveiling a team of top industry players in the region.

DJ Selector the immediate morning drive hosts of Sungmaale FM, MC Alaska from Puopiel Radio of the GN Media group are among other top notch sports and news casting personalities across the radio terrain, have been spotted on the list of workers.

It is how ever not clear as to what terms and conditions could influenced such mass poaching of already established professionals into joining the promising radio station.

The radio Station sharing the top most floor of the Agricultural Development Bank Building on the JJ Rawlings High Street is said to be strategically located to do business with the people of Wa.

MC Alaska, an actor and the only entertainment prefect of the region with huge 'listenership' is expected to cruise on the afternoon drive dubbed Home Ryde at 4:30 till 7pm day daily.

Home radio is expected to add up to the voices of the people of Wa and the Region as the stations website is and other social media handles are currently activated.

This is also expected to add up to the already thriving media landscape to compete for the few opportunities available to remain relevant in practice as a radio station.
