David Jawara to contest NDC parliamentary primaries

A leading member of the National Democratic Congress Mr. David Banye Jawara has declared his intention to contest the primaries of the Party in the Nadowli-Kaleo constituency. The avowed NDC member indicated his resolve to contest through a letter he wrote to inform the constituency executives of his intention.

David Banye Jawara is widely known across the length and breadth of the constituency over his role as a very active member of the party over the years. He is the pioneer youth organizer of the NDC in the Nadowli-Kaleo constituency and has always been an integral part of the party’s campaign team.

According to the letter watchghana.com has intercepted he says, ha served the party in various capacities since its inception and is of the firm conviction that given the opportunity he will be able to retain the seat for the NDC.

The Nadowli-Kaleo seat has been won by the NDC since 1992 by the Second Deputy Speaker of parliament Hon Alban Bagbin, who is expected to bow out of parliament to seek the high office of the NDC flag bearer.

David Banye Jawara stepped down for Hon Alban during the last heated NDC primaries speaking to Wa based W93.5FM he indicated that within the next few days he will begin visiting party executives in the constituency to interact with them.
