I am a native of Wa Mangu- Pibilee Naa Samini

Ghana’s Dancehall heavy weight Pibilii Naa Samini, yesterday revealed his true identity to the people of Upper West Regio. He disclosed that he is a native of Mangu, a suburb of Wa Municipality.

Speaking on local radio station and monitored by watchghana.com, the Linda hit maker explained that his father hails from Mangu thereby making him a native of the area.
 
Mangu, located west of the Wa Township, shares boundaries with Kambali and Sombo along the UDS old campus road. A turn from the Wa Maxisco Junction would lead you to the kinsmen of the High Grade label boss.

Naa Samini in a conversation with Ghana’s Lyrical General, Micky Jimmy, disclosed his seventh studio album tiled Untamed, which is born out of his faith not to accept intimidation in the struggles of life.

The Ghanaian legend revealed the lead song on the album is Mokpire which literally means a traveller in the Waali language and thanked his father for his support. ‘Big ups to my father, I wrote this song with my father’ he said proudly.

He again disclosed Mokpire is to reconnects him to the people of the Upper West Region. ‘My people here have the notion that I am not as Waala as I claim, or I am not of here as I claim, and if I really am, then I have to start showing how connected I am with the people here’ he added.

Samini on Monday shot videos for the song he believes would rekindle his relations with his people as away to reconnect with them.
 
He stated several plans including projecting musicians over here as well us hosting home coming concerts to put the region on the international front through his networks.

He also thanked the chief of the Waala traditional area, Naa Fusieni Pelpuo iv for the warm reception he enjoyed at the palace during the video shoot and hinted Naa Pelpuo iv desire to help him bring support to the talented youth of the area.

‘He has actually pledged to give us space to even have an Entertainment Center if am ready to put up one’ he revealed.

Pibilii Naa Emmanuel Samini also expressed satisfaction in his farming business calling on farmers to identify and cultivate produce with much demands for consumption.

Samini's visit to his home town earned him a royal title by the chief of Mangu. The dancehall King now has the skin name Pibilii Naa. 

Pibilii which means ‘little rocks’ is an area within the Mangu enclave of the Wa where his father rocks are abound in a beautiful ambience.
