The Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona West Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison has appealed to young people in Ghana to prioritise ICT and entrepreneurial education to enable them become more relevant to Ghana’s modern way of development.
According to the MP also the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, the future of Ghana belongs to the young people, who needed to be inspired, coached and motivated by the adults of today to realize their full potentials.
Hon. Morrison said this at the launch of an ICT project being undertaken by the Nobles Development Group, an NGO to empower more children, the youth and adults alike to discover their dreams.
She cautioned young people to desist from abusing or using the ICT for negative purposes such as watching pornographic materials, cyber crime and defrauding among others.
However, Nobles Development Group, is a non-governmental social development project group with the mission to nurture talents in the Agona Swedru and its environs through entertainment, mentorship, academics, sports, social and other activities.
The group has been constituted on the principle to give every child, youth and adults alike the opportunity to realize their biggest dreams with the support of colleagues who have gone through similar experiences.
