His Excellency Mr. Huseyin Gungo, Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, has reaffirmed Turkey's commitment to strengthening its relations with Ghana across various sectors. During a courtesy call in Accra to welcome Ya-Na Abukari II back from his 10-day visit to Turkey, Mr. Huseyin highlighted Turkey's substantial and unparalleled investments in Ghana.
The ambassador expressed optimism about the positive outcomes of Ya-Na’s visit, anticipating mutual benefits for both nations. He emphasized the enduring partnership between Turkey and Ghana, illustrated by the construction of the national mosque and the embassy's plans to send trade delegations to northern Ghana.
Ya-Na Abukari II expressed gratitude to the ambassador for his impactful tenure in Ghana and lauded the Turkish government and its people for their remarkable progress and development, positioning Turkey as a model state. He shared the successes of his visit to Turkey and the agreements established with various institutions. The Ya-Na urged continued support from the ambassador to realize these initiatives for the mutual benefit of both countries.
The meeting was also attended by His Royal Highness Dalun Lana Tapha Mahamadu III, Sakpe Naa Alabira Ibrahim, Secretary to the Ya-Na Alhaji AbdulRahman Mohammed, and Public Relations Officer at the Gbewaa Palace, Mr. Musah Yakubu.
