Apostle Okoh Agyemang, Leader and Founder of the Living Yahweh Seventh Day Sabbath Assemblies, has emphasized the need for the Electoral Commission (EC), political parties, and stakeholders in Ghana’s upcoming elections to prioritize fairness and transparency to safeguard the nation’s peace and democracy.
Speaking at the 16th Ghana Leadership Awards ceremony at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, where he received the Overall Best Award, Apostle Agyemang highlighted that a transparent and fair election, regardless of the winning party (NPP, NDC, or others), would reinforce Ghana’s democratic values.
He urged the EC, security agencies, and the media to uphold the highest standards of honesty and patriotism during the December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary polls.
Upholding Integrity
Apostle Agyemang appealed for vigilance, integrity, and neutrality from all stakeholders involved in the electoral process. He prayed that their efforts would ensure that all political parties and their supporters accept the election outcomes peacefully.
Additionally, he called on Ghanaian youth to refrain from violence and resist being used as tools for political unrest before, during, and after the elections.
